Power of Hair
In the partnership between One Salon and One Life’s Journey one of the key focuses is to provide beautiful human hair wigs to women who are navigating life’s toughest journeys. One Life’s Journey has been very fortunate with amazing hair donations from across the country and this trend continued during the partnership with One Salon. The stylist’s at One Salon have been so amazing to off their time and talent to provide free haircuts to people who are compelled to donate a 9 inch virgin pony tail.
One of these amazing donation stories came from a very special young woman. After three years of growing her hair out, her long blonde locks was literally her crowning achievement. The longer she had her hair the harder it was for her to think about parting with it. However, after seeing people who have lost their hair to cancer treatments she felt compelled to do something. At the One Salon Grand Opening she made the day extra special by donating over ten inches to One Life’s Journey. She has since embraced her short sassy hair knowing that it will grow back and when it does she plans to donate her hair again!
